Company Background
Established in 2005, JIMCO was formed when we took over certain operations at a large chemical manufacturing facility in Savannah, GA.
These operations initially included gypsum plant sales and operations, dredging and filter press operations and security services. JIMCO’s presence at the site expanded, as the company was awarded work in ore recovery, railcar cleaning and other services.
Management Team
Jimmie Collins, President
Mr. Collins began his career with UNICCO (formerly Ogden) at the Tronox Savannah Gypsum Plant in 1974, eventually reaching the position as site manager. In 2005, he formed JIMCO to continue and expand these services in Savannah. Since starting JIMCO, he has led the rapid growth of the company into various areas that capitalize on the company’s strengths and capabilities.
